Idiots Unleashed: Star Wars Prequels vs. Sequels
Join the Idiots as they discuss six oft hated entries in to the Star Wars franchise.
A Long Long Time Ago in a Desert Far Far Away (in California, so not actually that far), a guy named George started filming a silly space opera that was in no small part social commentary on the war in Vietnam. This little film called "Star Wars" (later re-titled "A New Hope") would go on to launch one of the biggest Sci-Fi franchises of all time with its original three films. Then, some years later (16 years after the 3rd/6th film released) George decided to fuck it all up! In 1999 The Phantom Menace was released, the official starting point of the Skywalker Saga and a new Prequel trilogy telling us the story of the rise and fall of a Jedi named Anakin Skywalker. These three films were ... questionable in quality and pretty poorly received.
Cut to 10 years later and Disney acquires Lucasfilm in a four billion dollar deal and starts milking that cash cow for all its worth, starting with 2015s The Force Awakens, the start of the final "trilogy" in the Skywalker Saga... and suddenly, the prequels didn't seem so bad.
Now, after having several years to sit on the entire Skywalker Saga, the Idiots decided to discuss the prequels and sequels and try to decide once and for all, which sucks more.
